In 2005, Canon developed the Chromalife System, now in 2008 Canon has developed the Chromalife 100+ which is comprised of Canon dye inks and Canon photo paper. The new Chromalife 100+ system, of which the PG-510 is a part, provides longer lasting and more beautiful vivid photo prints. PG-510
Using the Canon PG-510 ink cartridge, your photo black is more neutral. Black ink is a determining factor in the density and contrast of the image as a whole. Depending on the coloration properties of the black ink, an image can provide a dynamic three dimensional feel, or end up giving a flat impression. The dye's colour tone is also extremely important to image quality. Canon has been working on neutralizing the photo black ink and has suceeded in bringing the tone of the photo black ink closer to neutral, thus improving its visual blackness by combining a variety of dyes. • To obtain the best print quality of the Canon PG-510 ink cartridge, store the box with the bottom facing down.
• Use the Canon PG-510 ink cartridge up within 6 months after opening to obtain the best print quality.
• Refer to your Canon printer manual for instructions on how to open and install the Canon PG-510 ink cartridge.
• Store your Canon PG-510 ink cartridge in a location out of reach of children.
