Just replying with a review of my printer.
Brother MFC 990CW
I’m a mac user and have used various iterations of Brother’s wireless inkjet printers for 5 years now – MFC 665CW, MFC 685CW, now MFC 990CW. The original MFC 665CW is still in use and going strong. The MFC990CW is the quietest and gives the best prints yet. After the warranty finishes I switch to remanufactured compatible cartridges from a reliable firm and have never had a problem with the printers or print quality using non-manufacturer inks.
I use the MFC990CW for business use so it gets fully worked out every day, mainly document printing and the odd photo. I’m very happy with its performance generally, both print speed and quality are great for my needs. I love the wireless facility and the other multifunction aspects. Setup and use with a mac is really easy and extremely reliable.
My only minor dissatisfactions with this printer are:
No duplex print function
Only one paper tray
But I’m not sure these “missing” functions are available on other multifunction printers in the same price range anyway.
All in all I’m very satisfied.

my printer is a brother DCP-165C, with scanner/copier. I paid under $100 for it about 2 years ago and have found it to be excellent value, lots of features for print quality, brightness, can also scan photos directly to a file or email if wished. It has a usb port, so if you have an older pc, you can use the printer to upload from digital camera. My only complaint is that if you are using a thicker paper (like cartridge paper thickness) you have to feed pages one at a time. Also thicker photo paper gets jammed, so if you want to print photographs, you would have to use a thinner, lesser quality paper. I find its easier to go to a KMART booth if I want anything printed. For value and usefulness, i still give it 10/10, id buy this again.
Nope i dont own a business, private user only. But looking at possibly starting an online business at some point once my kids start school.

My printer is a Brother DCP 195C. As it is still under warranty I am using Brother cartridges.
This is my fifth printer in as many years and I am more than satisfied with it, after trying Canon, Lexmark and a couple of others.
It prints clearly and quickly, and appears to be quite economic with ink.
The only quibble is that if there is a paper jam, it is fiddly to clear, but apart from that this little vegemite is smiling.
